Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from al-Qasim ibn Muhammad from al-Minqari from Sufyan ibn âUyayna from Abu âAbdillah (a.s.) who has said the following: âThe Amawides provided people with studies of Islamic belief in generalized manner but did not allow people to study paganism, so that when they might impose it (paganism and evil deed) upon people they (people) would not consider it evil; (the Amawides preached predestination to cover up their own evil deeds).â ضعÙÙ - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (1/234))
