Al-Kāfi - The Book of Belief and Disbelief َّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنِ الْقَاسِ٠ِ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَ٠َّارٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلا٠) قَالَ إِنَّ الله جَبَلَ النَّبِيِّينَ عَلَى نُبُوَّتِهِ٠ْ فَلا يَرْتَدُّونَ أَبَداً وَجَبَلَ الأوْصِيَاءَ عَلَى وَصَايَاهُ٠ْ فَلا يَرْتَدُّونَ أَبَداً وَجَبَلَ بَعْضَ الْ٠ِنِينَ عَلَى الإي٠َانِ فَلا يَرْتَدُّونَ أَبَداً وَ٠َنْ أُعِيرَ الإي٠َانَ عَارِيَّةً فَإِذَا هُوَ دَعَا وَأَلَحَّ فِي الدُّعَاءِ ٠5.

Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from al-Husayn ibn Sa’id from al-Qasim ibn Habib from Ishaq ibn ‘Ammar from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following: ‘‘Allah has formed the prophets upon their prophet-hood, thus they never, turn away therefrom. He has formed the successors of the prophets upon their successor-ship and they never turn away therefrom. He has formed certain believers upon belief and they never turn away therefrom.

Belief in certain ones among them is deposited and if he prays persistently he dies upon belief.” جهول - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (1/247))
