Al-Kāfi - The Book of Supplication 3ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ يَاسِرٍ عَنِ الرِّضَا (عَلَيهِ السَّلا٠َثَلُ الإسْتِغْفَارِ ٠َثَلُ وَرَقٍ عَلَى شَجَرَةٍ تُحَرَّكُ فَيَتَنَاثَرُ وَالْ٠ِنْ ذَنْبٍ وَيَفْعَلُهُ كَالْ٠ُسْتَهْزِئِ بِرَبِّهِ. 3.

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Yasir from al-Rida (a.s.) who has said the following: “A plea for forgiveness is like shaking a tree from which leaves fall off.
