Al-KÄfi - The Book of Supplication Chapter: Concise Supplications for Worldly Needs and the Hereafter 21 - ÙعÙÙØ Ø±Ùع٠إÙ٠أب٠جعÙر (عÙÙ٠اÙسÙا٠أخا٠عبد اÙÙ٠ب٠عÙÙ Ùذا اÙدعاء: " اÙÙÙ٠ارÙع ظÙ٠صاعدا ÙÙا تط٠ع Ù٠عدÙا ÙÙا Øاسدا ÙاØÙظÙÙ Ùائ٠ا Ù Ùاعدا ÙÙÙظاÙا ÙراÙØ¯Ø§Ø Ø§ÙÙÙÙ ÙÙ ÙاÙدÙ٠سبÙÙ٠اÙØ£ÙÙÙ 21.
It is narrated from him (narrator of the Hadith above) in a marfu â manner from abu Jaâfar (a.s.) who instructed his brother âAbd Allah ibn Ali with following supplication: âO Lord, raise the degree of my knowledge upwards, do not allow any enemy or envier to become covetous of me, protect me standing, sitting, awake or sleeping.
O Lord, forgive me, favor me, guide me to Y our straight path, save me from the heat of hell, shake off of me my liabilities and sins and make me of the best of best of the world.â رÙÙع - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (2/459))
