Al-KÄfi - The Book of Supplication Chapter: Concise Supplications for Worldly Needs and the Hereafter 21 - ÙØ¹ÙÙØ Ø±ÙØ¹Ù Ø¥ÙÙ Ø£Ø¨Ù Ø¬Ø¹ÙØ± (عÙÙÙ Ø§ÙØ³Ùا٠أخا٠عبد اÙÙ٠ب٠عÙÙ ÙØ°Ø§ Ø§ÙØ¯Ø¹Ø§Ø¡: " اÙÙÙÙ Ø§Ø±ÙØ¹ ظÙ٠صاعدا ÙÙØ§ تط٠ع ÙÙ Ø¹Ø¯ÙØ§ ÙÙØ§ ØØ§Ø³Ø¯Ø§ ÙØ§ØÙظÙÙ ÙØ§Ø¦Ù ا Ù ÙØ§Ø¹Ø¯Ø§ ÙÙÙØ¸Ø§Ùا ÙØ±Ø§ÙØ¯Ø§Ø Ø§ÙÙÙÙ ÙÙ ÙØ§ÙدÙ٠سبÙÙÙ Ø§ÙØ£ÙÙÙ 21.
It is narrated from him (narrator of the Hadith above) in a marfu â manner from abu Jaâfar (a.s.) who instructed his brother âAbd Allah ibn Ali with following supplication: âO Lord, raise the degree of my knowledge upwards, do not allow any enemy or envier to become covetous of me, protect me standing, sitting, awake or sleeping.
O Lord, forgive me, favor me, guide me to Y our straight path, save me from the heat of hell, shake off of me my liabilities and sins and make me of the best of best of the world.â Ø±ÙÙØ¹ - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (2/459))
