Al-Kāfi - The Book of the Excellence of the Holy Quran Chapter: Those Who Memorize the Holy Quran with Difficulties 3ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدٍ عَنْ سُلَيْ٠ٍ الْفَرَّاءِ عَنْ رَجُلٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلا٠) قَالَ يَنْبَغِي لِلْ٠ُوتَ حَتَّى يَتَعَلَّ٠َ الْقُرْآنَ أَوْ يَكُونَ فِي تَعْلِي٠3.

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Sulaym al-Farra’ from a man from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who said: “It is incumbent on a believer not to die without having learnt the Qur’an or being in the process of learning it.” رسل - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (12/490))
