A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Yaâqub ibn Ishaq al-Dabbiy from abu âImran al-Armani from âAbd Allah ibn al-Hakam from Jabir who has said the following: âOnce I said to abu Jaâfar (a.s.) âThere are people when remembering something from the Holy Quran or is mentioned before them they suffer a shock to the extent that even if their hands or legs are cut they do not realize.â The Imam said, âGlory belongs to Allah. That is from Satan.
That is not how believing people are described. It is only softening, tender feelings, a few tears and anxiety.ââ Abu Ali al-Ashâari has narrated from Hassan from abu âImran al-Armani from âAbd Allah ibn al-Hakam from Jabir from abu Jaâfar (a.s.) a similar Hadith. ضعÙ٠بسÙدÙÙ - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (2/503))
