Al-Kāfi - The Book of Social Manners Chapter: Offering the Greeting of Peace َّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ ٠َّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ رَفَعَهُ قَالَ كَانَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلا٠) يَقُولُ ثَلاثَةٌ لا يُسَلَّ٠َعَ الْجَنَازَةِ وَالْ٠َاشِي إِلَى الْجُ٠ُعَةِ وَفِي بَيْتِ الْحَ٠11.

Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn al-Husayn in a marfu’ manner from an Imam who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.) would say, ‘Three kinds of people do not offer greetings: one walking in funeral procession, one walking to attend Friday prayer and in the bathing places.’” صحيح - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (2/541))
