Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from âUthman ibn âIsa form ibn Muskan from abu Basir who has said the following: âI asked abu âAbd Allah (a.s.), âHow much is the quantity of one Kur of water?â He (the Imam) replied, âIf the size of water is three and a half shibr by three and a half shibr, and three and a half shibr in its depth in the ground, then it is one Kur.ââ ÙØ«Ù - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (13/12))
