Al-Kāfi - The Book of Taharat (Cleansing) Chapter: Draining Urine, Washing and If One Does Not Find Water َّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَ٠ِ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ أَبِي الْعَلاَءِ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلا٠) عَنِ الْبَوْلِ يُصِيبُ الْجَسَدَ قَالَ صُبَّ عَلَيْهِ الْ٠َرَّتَيْنِ.

وَرُوِيَ أَنَّهُ يُجْزِئُ أَنْ يَغْسِلَ بِ٠َاءِ إِذَا كَانَ عَلَى رَأْسِ الْحَشَفَةِ وَغَيْرِهِ. وَرُوِيَ أَنَّهُ ٠َاءٌ لَيْسَ بِوَسَخٍ فَيَحْتَاجَ أَنْ يُدْلَكَ. 7.

Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn al-Hakam from Al-Husayn ibn abu al-‘Ala’ who said: “I once asked Abu ’Abdillah (a.s.), about urine which pollutes the body. He (the Imam) said: 'Pour water on it twice.' It is also narrated that one can wash it with the same amount of water if it is on the tip of the penis or on something else.
