Al-Kāfi - The Book of Taharat (Cleansing) Chapter: Description of Wudu’ 8ـ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ ٠َّدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ عَا٠ِرٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ ٠َهْزِيَارَ عَنْ ٠َّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ حَ٠َانَ قَالَ كُنْتُ قَاعِداً عِنْدَ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلا٠َلأَ بِهِ كَفَّهُ فَعَ٠َّ بِهِ وَجْهَهُ ثُ٠َلأَ كَفَّهُ فَعَ٠َّ بِهِ يَدَهُ الْيُ٠َلأَ كَفَّهُ فَعَ٠َّ بِهِ يَدَهُ الْيُسْرَى ثُ٠َسَحَ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ وَرِجْلَيْهِ وَقَالَ هَذَا وُضُوءُ ٠ْ يُحْدِثْ حَدَثاً يَعْنِي بِهِ التَّعَدِّيَ فِي الْوُضُوءِ.

He then filled the palm of his right hand with water, washed therewith his left hand, and thereafter wiped his head and feet saying, This is the Wudu of one who does not invent anything in it, meaning thereby transgression against the limits of Wudu” صحيح - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (13/78))
