Al-Kāfi - The Book of Hayd (menses) Chapter: Women Observe Yellowish Blood Before or After Hayd (menses) َّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنِ الْقَاسِ٠َّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي حَ٠ْزَةَ قَالَ سُئِلَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلا٠) وَأَنَا حَاضِرٌ عَنِ الْ٠َرْأَةِ تَرَى الصُّفْرَةَ فَقَالَ ٠َا كَانَ قَبْلَ الْحَيْضِ فَهُوَ ٠ِنَ الْحَيْضِ وَ٠َا كَانَ بَعْدَ الْحَيْضِ فَلَيْسَ ٠4.

Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Muhammad ibn Khalid from al-Qasim ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn abu Hamzah who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), was asked, when I was in his presence, about the case of a woman who experiences a discharge of yellowish color.

He (the Imam) said, ‘What is before Hayd (menses) is of Hayd (menses) and what is after Hayd (menses) is not Hayd (menses).”’ ضعيف - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (13/209))
