Al-Kāfi - The Book of Hayd (menses) Chapter: Women Must Make-up-for Fasting Because of Hayd but Not Salah (Prayer) 2ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُ٠َيْرٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ رَاشِدٍ قَالَ قُلْتُ لأَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلا٠) الْحَائِضُ تَقْضِي الصَّلاَةَ قَالَ لاَ قُلْتُ تَقْضِي الصَّوْ٠ِنْ أَيْنَ جَاءَ هَذَا قَالَ إِنَّ أَوَّلَ ٠َنْ قَاسَ إِبْلِيسُ.

He (the Imam) said, ‘Yes, she is required to fast.’ I then asked, ‘From where has this come?’ He (the Imam) said, ‘The first one who used analogy was Iblis (Satan).”’ ضعيف - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (13/248))
