Ali has narrated from his father from Hammad ibn âIsa from Hariz from Zurarah who has said the following: âAbu Jaâfar (a.s.), has said, âIf you find a man in dying condition, dictate to him the relieving words: âAllah, the Most Forbearing, the Most Honorable, is the only Lord who must be worshipped. Allah, the Most High, the Most Great, is the only Lord who must be worshipped.
It is Allah, Lord of seven heavens and seven earths, all that is between them and beneath them, Lord of the great Throne who is free of all defects, and it is only Allah, Lord of the worlds who deserves all praise.â Abu Jaâfar (a.s.), then said, âHad you met âIkrimah in his dying condition you could have benefited him.â He was asked, âIn what way he could benefit him?â The Imam replied, âBy dictating to him the matters of your belief.ââ Øس٠- Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (3/277))
