Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ahmad ibn al-Hassan ibn Ali from âAmr ibn Saâid from Musaddiq ibn Sadaqah from âAmmar ibn Musa who has said the following: âAbu âAbd Allah (a.s.), has said, âShroud can be made of Burd; if Burd is not available, then the whole shroud is of cotton.
If a turban of cotton is not available, then Sabiriy fabric can be used for this purpose.ââ ÙØ«Ù - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (13/321))
