Al-Kāfi - The Book on Dying People Chapter: Persons Dead Without Shower Due to Carnal Relations Hayd or Child Birth Reasons 1ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ حَ٠َّادِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ حَرِيزٍ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ قَالَ قُلْتُ لَهُ ٠َيِّتٌ وَهُوَ جُنُبٌ كَيْفَ يُغَسَّلُ وَ٠َاءِ فَقَالَ يُغَسَّلُ غُسْلاً وَاحِداً يُجْزِئُ ذَلِكَ عَنْهُ لِجَنَابَتِهِ وَلِغُسْلِ الْ٠1.

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Hammad ibn ‘Isa from Hariz from Zurarah, in a Muzmar manner, who has said the following: “I once said to him (the Imam) (a.s.), that there is one who has died after sexual relation but before Ghusl (bath). How is Ghusl (bath) prescribed for him and how much water is needed?

He (the Imam) said, ’Only one Ghusl (bath) is sufficient for both reasons, each of which is inviolable requiring one inviolable act (Ghusl (bath)).’” حسن - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (13/329))
