Al-Kāfi - The Book on Dying People Chapter: The Reward for Walking in a Funeral Procession 6ـ أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الأشْعَرِيُّ عَنْ ٠َّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ عَنِ ابْنِ فَضَّالٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ ٠ُيَسِّرٍ قَالَ سَ٠ِعْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلا٠َنْ تَبِعَ جَنَازَةَ ٠َةِ أَرْبَعَ شَفَاعَاتٍ وَلَ٠ْ يَقُلْ شَيْئاً إِلاَّ وَقَالَ الْ٠6.

Abu Ali al-Ash’ariy has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Jabbar from ibn Faddal from Ali ibn ‘Uqbah from Muyassir who has said the following: “I heard abu Ja‘far (a.s.), say, ‘If one escorts the dead body of a Muslim, on the Day of Judgment, he will be given four kinds of intercession opportunities.
