Al-Kāfi - The Book on Dying People Chapter: The Obligations of the Neighbors toward the People of the Deceased and Mourning Ceremonies 4ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ حَ٠َّادِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ حَرِيزٍ أَوْ غَيْرِهِ قَالَ أَوْصَى أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلا٠ِهِ وَكَانَ يَرَى ذَلِكَ ٠ِنَ السُّنَّةِ لأَنَّ رَسُولَ الله (صلّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) قَالَ اتَّخِذُوا لآِلِ جَعْفَرٍ طَعَا٠اً فَقَدْ شُغِلُوا.

He considered it as part of the tradition; the Messenger of Allah had said, ‘Prepare food for the family of Ja‘far; they are preoccupied (with the death of Ja‘far).’” رسل - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (14/167))
