Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi âUmayr from Hammad ibn âUthman from al-Halabiy who has said the following: âAbu âAbd Allah (a.s.), has said that when you bow down for sajdah say, âAllah is great. then say, â 0 Lord, I have bowed down to prostrate before You, I believe in You, submitted myself to You, have appealed to You to be my attorney and You are my Lord.
My face has prostrated before the One who has created it, who has cut out for it a hearing means and a seeing means (ears and eyes). All praise belongs to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. Allah is most Blessed and the best Creator. Then say, âMy Lord, the most High, is free of all defects. three times. While sitting straight between the two prostrations, say, âO Lord, forgive me, grant me mercy, grant me protection, and defend me against my enemies.
I am in great need of the good that You have sent to me. Blessed is Allah, Lord of the worlds.â Øس٠- Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (15/127))
