Al-Kāfi - The Book of Prayer

Chapter: Placing the Forehead on the Ground َّدٌ عَنِ الْفَضْلِ عَنْ حَ٠َّادِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ حَرِيزٍ عَنْ ٠ٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلا٠) قَالَ قُلْتُ لَهُ الرَّجُلُ يَنْفُخُ فِي الصَّلاَةِ ٠َوْضِعَ جَبْهَتِهِ فَقَالَ لاَ. 8.

Muhammad has narrated from al-Fadl from Hammad ibn ‘Isa from Hariz from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following: “I once asked abu ’Abd Allah (a.s.), ’Can one blow at the place where he places his forehead for prostration? 5 He (the Imam) replied, ’No, he cannot do so.” جهول - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (15/154))
