Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Husayn ibn Saâid from Fadalah ibn Ayyub from Aban ibn âIsmaâil ibn al-Fadl who has said the following: âI once asked abu âAbd Allah (a.s.), about Qunut (supplication after recitation in second Rakâat) and what is said in it. He (the Imam) said, âSay whatever Allah makes to come out from your tongue.
I do not know of anything definite for it.ââ ÙØ«Ù - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (15/167))
