Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Husayn ibn Saâid who has said the following: âYaâqub ibn Yaqtin narrated to me saying, âI once asked the virtuous servant of Allah about Qunut (supplication after recitation in second Rakâat) in al-Witr, the morning Salah (prayer) and Salah (prayer) which is said aloud before Rukuâ (bowing down on oneâs knees) or after Rukuâ.
He (the Imam) said, âIt is before Rukuâ when you complete your recitation.ââ صØÙØ - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (5/169))
