Al-Kāfi - The Book of Prayer

Chapter: The Rare Ahadith about Friday 10ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله رَفَعَهُ قَالَ قِيلَ لأَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلا٠ُ بَعْضُ النَّاسِ أَنَّ النُّورَةَ يَوْ٠َكْرُوهَةٌ فَقَالَ لَيْسَ حَيْثُ ذَهَبَ أَيُّ طَهُورٍ أَطْهَرُ ٠ِنَ النُّورَةِ يَوْ٠10.

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from Ahmad ibn abu ‘Abd Allah in a marfu‘ manner saying: “Someone said to abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), ‘Certain people consider applying Nurah (lime as hair cleaner) on Friday as undesirable.’ The Imam said, ‘It is not as they say.
