Muhammad ibn âIsmaâil has narrated from al-Fadl ibn Shadhan from Hammad ibn âIsa from Ribâi from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following: âI once asked him (the Imam) (a.s.), âCan a man move backward in Salah (prayer)?â He (the Imam) said, âNo, he cannot do so.â I then asked, âCan he move forward?â He (the Imam) said, âYes, as much as he wants to al-Qiblah (al-Kaâbah).ââ Ø¬ÙÙÙ ÙØ§ÙصØÙØ - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (5/282))
