Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Husayn ibn Saâid from al-Qasim ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn abu Hamzah from abu Basir who has said the following: âI once said to abu Jaâfar (a.s.), that we speak and say that whoever performs Salah (prayer) in a sitting position without good reason, his two Rakâat are counted as one Rakâat and his two Sajdah (prostration) are counted as one Sajdah (prostration). He (the Imam) said, âIt is not that way.
It is complete for you.ââ ضعÙÙ - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (5/332))
