Al-Kāfi - The Book of Prayer

Chapter: Sprucing up on Fridays َاعِيلَ عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ شَاذَانَ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُ٠َيْرٍ عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ الْبَخْتَرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلا٠) قَالَ أَخْذُ الشَّارِبِ وَالأظْفَارِ ٠ُعَةِ إِلَى الْجُ٠7.

Muhammad ibn ’Isma‘il has narrated from al-Fadl ibn Shadhan from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hafs ibn al-Bakhtariy who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Trimming one’s mustache, and fingernails every Friday is protection against leprosy.’” جهول كالصحيح - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (15/347))
