Al-Kāfi - The Book of Prayer

Chapter: Sprucing up on Fridays 8ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َ عَنْ أَبِيهِ وَ٠َاعِيلَ عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ شَاذَانَ جَ٠َّادِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ حَرِيزٍ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ وَالْفُضَيْلِ قَالاَ قُلْنَا لَهُ أَ يُجْزِئُ إِذَا اغْتَسَلْتُ بَعْدَ الْفَجْرِ لِلْجُ٠ُعَةِ قَالَ نَعَ٠8.

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from and Muhammad ibn ‘Isma’il fom from af-Fadf ibn Shadhan all from Hammad ibn ‘Isa from Hariz from Zurarah and al-Fudayl who has narrated the following: “ We once asked him (the Imam) (a.s.), if taking Ghusl (bath) after dawn on Friday is sufficient. He (the Imam) replied, ’Yes it is sufficient.’” حسن كالصحيح - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (15/347))
