Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn al-Husayn from Safwan ibn Yahya from Yaâqub ibn Shuâayb who has said the following: âI once asked abu âAbd Allah (a.s.), about a man who performs Salah (prayer) on his stumper. He (the Imam) said, âHe makes gestures for Sujud (prostrations) lower than the gesture for Rukuâ (bowing down on oneâs knees).â I then asked, âCan he perform Salah (prayer) while walking?
He (the Imam) said, âYes, but in the form of gestures and make the one for Sujud (prostrations) lower than that for RukuVâ صØÙØ - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (5/393))
