Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi âUmayr from Ayyub al-Khazzaz from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following: âI heard abu âAbd Allah (a.s.), saying, âA servant (of Allah) wakes up three times at night and if he still is not up (for Salah (prayer)) Satan comes and urinates in his ears.â I then asked about the words of Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Glorious, âThey would sleep very little at nightâ.
(51:18) The Imam replied, âThere were few nights in which they would miss getting up for Salah (prayer)).ââ Øس٠- Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (15/406))
