Ali ibn Muhammad has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Khalid from âUthman from ibn âIsa from Ismaâil ibn Jabir who has said the following: âIn the following words of Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Glorious, there is the expression, âcertain shareâ: âThey are those who assign a certain share of their property (70:24) for the needy and the deprived.â (70:25) Whether âcertain shareâ stands for zakat or something else, the Imam said, âIt is the property that Allah gives to an affluent person who pays a thousand or two or three or less or more to keep good relations with relatives or relieve the burdens of his people.ââ جÙÙÙ - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (16/10))
