Al-Kāfi - The Book of al-Zakat Chapter: Jewelries, Ornaments Are Not Subject to Zakat َّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ ٠َّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلا٠) عَنِ الْحُلِيِّ أَ يُزَكَّى فَقَالَ إِذاً لاَ يَبْقَى ٠3.

Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn al-Husayn from Safwan ibn Yahya from Ya’qub ibn Shu’ayb who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), if there is Zakat on jewelries.
