Rid has narrated from Muhammad ibn âAbd al-Jabbar from Safwan ibn Yahya from Ishaq ibn âAmmar who has said the following: âI once asked abu âAbd Allah (a.s.), about a man whose father is indebted and has certain expenses; if he can give his father from his Zakat to pay his debts. He (the Imam) said, âYes, who is more deserving than his own father.ââ Øس٠- Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (16/96))
