Al-Kāfi - The Book of al-Zakat Chapter: Sending Zakat from one Place to Other Places... 10ـ أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الأشْعَرِيُّ عَنْ ٠َّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ ٠ُسْكَانَ عَنِ الْحَلَبِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلا٠) قَالَ لاَ تَحِلُّ صَدَقَةُ الْ٠ُهَاجِرِينَ لِلأعْرَابِ وَلاَ صَدَقَةُ الأعْرَابِ لِلْ٠10.

Abu Ali al-Ash’ariy has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Jabbar from Safwan ibn Yahya from ‘Abd Allah ibn Muskan from al- Halabiy who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Zakat of immigrants (converts to piety and religion) is not lawful for Arabs and the charity (Zakat) of Arabs is not lawful for immigrants.’”
