Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn âIsa from al-Hassan ibn Mahbub from Muâawiyah ibn âAmmar who has said the following: âAbu â Abd Allah (a.s.), once, spoke to us and repeated the following phrase three times.
âIf one wishes that Allah provide him shadow on the Day when there will be no shadow except His shadow,â and no one had the courage to ask him to explain, he (Imam) then said, âHe should extend the due date of repayment of a loan for a borrower who has difficulty to pay back, or partially waive it in his (debtorâs) favor.ââ صØÙØ - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (6/163))
