Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Hammad from Hariz who has said the following: âSomeone asked abu âAbd Allah (a.s.), about fasting on Wednesday. The Imam said, âAmir al-Muâminin (a.s.), has said, âAllah, the Most Majestic, the Most Glorious, created hellfire on Wednesday; for this reason there is fasting to seek refuge thereby from the fire.âââ Øس٠- Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (6/258))
