Ahmad ibn Muhammad has narrated from Ali ibn Ahmad from Musa ibn Bakr from Muhammad ibn Mansur who has said the following: âI once asked al-Ridaâ (a.s.), about a man who makes a vow and then fails to fast. He (the Imam) said, âMy father (a.s.), would say that he is required to pay one mud (a certain measurement) for every day.ââ جÙÙÙ - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (6/355))
