Al-Kāfi - The Book about people with Divine Authority Chapter: Knowing the Imam (a.s.) and Belief in His Divine Authority َّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ ٠َّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَ٠ِ عَنْ أَبَانٍ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ قَالَ قَالَ لِي أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠) هَلْ عَرَفْتَ إِ٠َكَ قَالَ قُلْتُ إِي وَالله قَبْلَ أَنْ أَخْرُجَ ٠ِنَ الْكُوفَةِ فَقَالَ حَسْبُكَ إِذاً.

“Have you found out who your Imam is?” I said, “Yes, I swear by Allah, I did so before I left Kufa.” The Imam (a.s.) said, “Then it is sufficient for you.” يخرجه - Shaykh Baqir al-Behbudi (Sahih al-Kafi) جهول - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (2/321))
