Chapter: Al-âTtikaf (Fasting for Three Days while Staying in a Masjid) 2٠عÙÙÙÙÙ٠بÙÙ٠إÙبÙرÙاÙÙÙ٠٠عÙÙ٠أÙبÙÙÙ٠عÙÙ٠ابÙÙ٠أÙبÙ٠عÙÙ ÙÙاد٠عÙÙ٠اÙÙØÙÙÙبÙÙÙ٠عÙÙ٠أÙبÙ٠عÙبÙد٠اÙÙÙ (عÙÙÙÙÙÙ٠اÙسÙÙÙاÙÙ ) ÙÙاÙÙ ÙÙاÙÙت٠بÙدÙر٠ÙÙÙ Ø´ÙÙÙر٠رÙÙ Ù ÙÙعÙتÙÙÙÙ٠رÙسÙÙÙ٠اÙÙÙ (صÙÙÙ٠اÙÙÙ٠عÙÙÙÙÙÙÙ ÙÙØ¢ÙÙÙ) ÙÙÙÙÙ ÙÙÙ ÙÙابÙÙ٠اعÙتÙÙÙÙ٠عÙØ´ÙرÙÙÙÙ٠عÙØ´Ùرا٠ÙÙعÙا٠ÙÙÙ ÙÙعÙØ´Ùرا٠ÙÙضÙاء٠ÙÙÙ 2.
Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi âUmayr from Hammad from al-Halabiy who has said the following: âAbu âAbd Allah (a.s.), has said, â(The battle of) Badr took place in the month of Ramadan. The Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, did not do Ttikaf. In the next year he performed Ttikaf for twenty days.
