8.Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi âUmayr from Khallad who has said the following: âAbout a man who has slaughtered a pigeon of the pigeons of al-Haram (the sacred area) abu âAbd Allah (a.s.), has said, âHe owes a ransom.â I then asked, âCan he use it for food?â He (the Imam) said, âNo, he cannot do so.â I then asked, âCan he throw it away?â He (the Imam) said, âIf he did so he will owe another ransom.â I then asked, âWhat then he must do?â He (the Imam) said, âHe is required to bury it.ââ جÙÙÙ - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (17/87))
