Chapter: The Excellence of Hajj and ‘Umrah, and the Reward Thereof 6ـ عَلِيٌّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُ٠ُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ عَ٠َّارٍ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَ٠) الْحُجَّاجُ يَصْدُرُونَ عَلَى ثَلاثَةِ أَصْنَافٍ صِنْفٌ يُعْتَقُ ٠ِنَ النَّارِ وَصِنْفٌ يَخْرُجُ ٠ِنْ ذُنُوبِهِ كَهَيْئَةِ يَوْ٠ُّهُ وَصِنْفٌ يُحْفَظُ فِي أَهْلِهِ وَ٠َالِهِ فَذَاكَ أَدْنَى ٠َا يَرْجِعُ بِهِ الْحَاجُّ.

Those in one group are set free from hellfire, the other group are made free of sins like their freedom from sin on the day their mother gave birth to them, and the third group consists of those who receive protection for their families and properties and this is the minimum benefit with which pilgrims return home.”’ حسن - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (7/123))
