Al-Kāfi - The Book of Haj

Chapter: The Obligation of al-Hajj and al-Umrah 2ـ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ ٠َّدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ أَبَانِ بْنِ عُثْ٠َانَ عَنِ الْفَضْلِ أَبِي الْعَبَّاسِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَ٠ُّوا الْحَجَّ وَالْعُ٠ْرَةَ لله قَالَ هُ٠2.

AI-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated, from Mu‘afla’ ibn Muhammad, from al-Hassan ibn Ali, from Aban ibn ‘Uthman from al- Fadl abu af-‘Abbas who has said the following: “About the words of Allah: ‘Complete al-Hajj and al-‘Umrah for the sake of Allah’ (2:196) abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that they are obligatory.” ضعيف - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (7/141))
