Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi âUmayr from Hammad from al-Halabiy who has said the following: âI once asked abu â Abd Allah (a.s.), about a man who forgets to assume the state of Ihram until he enters al-Haram (the sacred area). He (the Imam) said, âMy father has said that he must go out to Miqat (place for assuming the state of Ihram) of the people of his land.
If he is afraid of missing the season of al-Hajj, he then must assume the state of Ihram from where he is. If he can go out of al- Haram (the sacred area), he must do so to assume the state of Ihram.ââ Øس٠- Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (7/242))
