Al-Kāfi - The Book of Haj

Chapter: Salat (Prayer) for al-’Ihram, Its Commencement and Conditions َّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدِ بْنِ الْفُضَيْلِ عَنْ أَبِي الصَّبَّاحِ الْكِنَانِيِّ قَالَ قُلْتُ لأَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَ٠) أَ رَأَيْتَ لَوْ أَنَّ رَجُلاً أَحْرَ٠َ فِي دُبُرِ صَلاةٍ ٠َكْتُوبَةٍ أَ كَانَ يُجْزِئُهُ ذَلِكَ قَالَ نَعَ٠10.

Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Muhammad ibn al-Fudayl from abu al-Sabbah al-Kinaniy who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about a man who assumes the state of Ihram after an obligatory Salat (prayer); if it is sufficient.
