Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Hammad from Hariz from those who informed him that Abu 'Abdillah (al-Sadiq) (as) said: "The one in the state of Ihram must not touch any items of fragrance or plants, nor should he derive pleasure from it, and neither should he smell a pleasant odor.
So whoever is tested with any of that should give in charity an amount equivalent to what he has done, to the best of his ability." رس٠- Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (17/308))
