Ibn abu âUmayr and from Safwan ibn Yahya all has narrated from Muâawiyah ibn âAmmar who has said the following: âAbu âAbd Allah (a.s.), has said, âYou must not eat of the flesh of a prey while you are in the state of Ihram, even if the hunter is not in the state of Ihram.
There is no ransom on you because of what you do out of ignorance except hunting, in which case there is ransom, regardless of being done out of ignorance or with knowledge.ââ Øس٠ÙاÙصØÙØ - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (17/363))
