Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Hammad ibn âIsa from Hariz ibn âAbd Allah from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following: âI once asked abu âAbd Allah (a.s.), about the meat of wild animals given as gift, he does not know if it is hunted and he has not commanded it; if he can eat. He (the Imam) said, âNo, he cannot eat it.â I then asked about qadid (meat dried up in the sun) of wild animals for one in the state of Ihram.
He (the Imam) said, âNo, he cannot eat it.ââ صØÙØ - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (17/365))
