Al-Kāfi - The Book of Haj

Chapter: The Case of Several People Hunting One Prey in the State of al-’ Ihram 2ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُ٠ُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ عَ٠َّارٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَ٠) قَالَ إِذَا اجْتَ٠ٌ عَلَى صَيْدٍ وَهُ٠ُونَ فِي صَيْدِهِ أَوْ أَكَلُوا ٠ِنْهُ فَعَلَى كُلِّ وَاحِدٍ ٠2.

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Mu‘awiyah ibn ‘Ammar who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘If a group of people together kill a prey while they are in the state of Ihram or eat from its flesh, each one must pay the cost of such prey.’” حسن - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (7/383))
