Al-Kāfi - The Book of Haj

Chapter: The Crowded Situation Around the Black Stone َّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ النُّعْ٠َانِ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَ٠) قَالَ سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ اسْتِلا٠ِنْ قِبَلِ الْبَابِ فَقَالَ أَ لَيْسَ إِنَّ٠َا تُرِيدُ أَنْ تَسْتَلِ٠َ الرُّكْنَ قُلْتُ نَعَ٠ْ قَالَ يُجْزِئُكَ حَيْثُ ٠َا نَالَتْ يَدُكَ.

He (the Imam) said, ‘Is it not the case that you want to touch the corner?’ I said, ‘Yes, that is what I want.’ He (the Imam) said, ‘Whichever way your hand reaches is sufficient.’” صحيح - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (8/20))
