Chapter: The Case of Tawaf of One Suffering from an Illness and One Who Is Carried by Someone Else for Tawaf َّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدِ بْنِ الْفُضَيْلِ عَنِ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ خُثَيْ٠ٍ قَالَ شَهِدْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَ٠) وَهُوَ يُطَافُ بِهِ حَوْلَ الْكَعْبَةِ فِي ٠ِلٍ وَهُوَ شَدِيدُ الْ٠َرَضِ فَكَانَ كُلَّ٠َا بَلَغَ الرُّكْنَ الْيَ٠ْ فَوَضَعُوهُ بِالأَرْضِ فَأَخْرَجَ يَدَهُ ٠ِلِ حَتَّى يَجُرَّهَا عَلَى الأَرْضِ ثُ٠َّ يَقُولُ ارْفَعُونِي فَلَ٠َّا فَعَلَ ذَلِكَ ٠ِرَاراً فِي كُلِّ شَوْطٍ قُلْتُ لَهُ جُعِلْتُ فِدَاكَ يَا ابْنَ رَسُولِ الله إِنَّ هَذَا يَشُقُّ عَلَيْكَ فَقَالَ إِنِّي سَ٠ِعْتُ الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يَقُولُ لِيَشْهَدُوا ٠َنَافِعَ الدُّنْيَا أَوْ ٠َنَافِعَ الآخِرَةِ فَقَالَ الْكُلَّ.

Whenever he would reach al-Yemaniy corner he commanded to place him on the ground, and he would extend his hand from the carriage and pull it on the ground then say, ’Lift me up.’ When he did so many times in every turn of walking around the House, I said, ‘I pray to Allah to keep my soul in service for your cause, O child of the Messenger of Allah, this is difficult for you.’ He (the Imam) said, I heard Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious, say,..
