Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi âUmayr from Hammad from al-Halabiy who has said the following: âI once asked abu âAbd Allah (a.s.), about a man who is for al-Hajj al-Tamattuâ (advantageous) but wants to go to Taâif. He (the Imam) said, âHe must commence al-Hajj from Makkah and I do not like for him to go out without Ihram.
He must not go beyond Taâif; it is not far from Makkah.ââ Øس٠- Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (8/87))
