Al-Khiá¹£Äl - Part 12: On Twelve-Numbered Characteristics Chapter: There Are Twelve Months 12-63 ØدثÙا أب٠رض٠اÙÙ٠عÙÙ ÙاÙ: ØدثÙا سعد ب٠عبد اÙÙÙØ Ø¹Ù Ø£Ø٠د ب٠أب٠عبد اÙÙ٠اÙبرÙÙØ Ø¹Ù Ø£Ø¨ÙÙØ Ø¹Ù Ø٠اد ب٠عÙسÙØ Ø¹Ù Ø§ÙØµØ¨Ø§Ø Ø¨Ù Ø³ÙØ§Ø¨Ø©Ø Ø¹Ù Ø£Ø¨Ù Ø¬Ø¹Ùر عÙÙ٠اÙسÙا٠ÙاÙ: إ٠اÙÙ٠عز Ùج٠خÙ٠اÙØ´ÙÙر اثÙ٠عشر Ø´Ùرا ÙÙÙ Ø«Ùاث٠اÙات ÙاÙارضÙÙØ ÙÙ 12-63 (The compiler of the book narrated) that his father - may God be pleased with him - narrated that Saâed ibn Abdullah quoted Ahmad ibn Aba Abdullah al-Barqy, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Hammad ibn Isa, on the authority of Al-Sabah ibn Siabat that Abi Jaâfar al-Baqir (MGB) said, âThe Honorable the Exalted God created the twelve months which are three-hundred and sixty days.
However, the six days during which the heavens and the two Earths were created were subtracted. Therefore, some (lunar) months are less than thirty days.â
