Al-Khiá¹£Äl - Part 12: On Twelve-Numbered Characteristics Chapter: There Are Twelve Months 12-63 ØØ¯Ø«Ùا أب٠رض٠اÙÙ٠عÙÙ ÙØ§Ù: ØØ¯Ø«Ùا سعد ب٠عبد اÙÙÙØ ع٠أØÙ د ب٠أب٠عبد اÙÙÙ Ø§ÙØ¨Ø±ÙÙØ ع٠أبÙÙØ ع٠ØÙ اد Ø¨Ù Ø¹ÙØ³ÙØ Ø¹Ù Ø§ÙØµØ¨Ø§Ø Ø¨Ù Ø³ÙØ§Ø¨Ø©Ø Ø¹Ù Ø£Ø¨Ù Ø¬Ø¹ÙØ± عÙÙÙ Ø§ÙØ³ÙØ§Ù ÙØ§Ù: إ٠اÙÙ٠عز ÙØ¬Ù Ø®ÙÙ Ø§ÙØ´ÙÙØ± اثÙ٠عشر Ø´ÙØ±Ø§ ÙÙÙ Ø«ÙØ§Ø«Ù Ø§ÙØ§Øª ÙØ§ÙارضÙÙØ ÙÙ 12-63 (The compiler of the book narrated) that his father - may God be pleased with him - narrated that Saâed ibn Abdullah quoted Ahmad ibn Aba Abdullah al-Barqy, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Hammad ibn Isa, on the authority of Al-Sabah ibn Siabat that Abi Jaâfar al-Baqir (MGB) said, âThe Honorable the Exalted God created the twelve months which are three-hundred and sixty days.
However, the six days during which the heavens and the two Earths were created were subtracted. Therefore, some (lunar) months are less than thirty days.â
